Simple and Easy Vegan Chocolate Brownies

No matter what the question the answer is brownies, am I right? OK, maybe not everything but technically everything. My point is that brownies can brighten up anyones mood!

I am so excited to share this recipe that I have tried for these brownies, I am not a vegan but these brownies taste just as good as the non vegan brownies if not better. I love that they hit the spot and they’re not extremely unhealthy, I am going to get straight in to the recipe!

Chocolate Vegan Brownies

PREP TIME: 15 mins

BAKE TIME: 25 Mins

TOTAL TIME: 40 Mins

SERVES: 10-12

INGREDIANTS:

  1. 2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
  2. 1.5 Cups of Sugar
  3. 1 Cup of Cocoa Powder
  4. 1.5 Cups of Almond Milk
  5. 1/2 Cup of Oil
  6. 1/2 Tsp of Salt
  7. 1 Tsp of Baking Powder
  8. 1 Tsp of Vanilla

 Preheat the oven to 350ºF

PREP DRY MIXTURE: In a bowl add the flour, sugar cocoa powder, salt and baking powder and mix the dry mixture together.

PREP BROWNIE BATTER: Add the milk slowly into the dry mixture, now you can use water if you’d like but personally I like the consistency of the batter and the way it tastes with milk. If you need to add more milk or water you can do so, you have to make sure the that mixture is not too runny and not thick also. You can either whisk the mixture with a electric whisk or a do it your self manually. After you have reached a semi thick consistency add the oil and the vanilla extract into the mixture and whisk it well.

BAKE: Lay down some aluminum foil in a 11×7 inch pan and grease it with some oil. The foil is optional, you can grease your pan with some oil if you’d like. You can sprinkle some flour inside the greased pan, to prevent them getting stuck at the bottom.  Spread the brownie mixture into the pan and bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Before taking them out make sure they are no longer shiny on the top and you can also make sure they cooked by poking a fork in the mixture if it comes out dry your brownies are cooked!

Allow the brownies to cool for at least 10-15 minutes before you try cutting them.

Enjoy your brownies! You can’t go wrong with some vegan ice cream on the side of a hot brownie!
